HISTORY

We are a full service, woman owned and WBENC certified installation company headquartered in New Jersey.

Independently operated, we provide union labor for office furniture, architectural wall, and lab casework installation. We can also provide logistical services, including warehousing, delivering and receiving, and relocations. As a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, we bring decades of experience, knowledge, and expertise to your job.

Established in 1999, SDK Associates is an experienced installation company that completes the final piece of your project’s puzzle. We have successfully completed projects for clients in industries including healthcare, large firms, and more.

OUR TEAM

Our people are our most valuable resource and their knowledge and expertise is our most important asset.  We work hard to cultivate long term employee relationships with project foreman that share our core values and have the ability to pass those core values along to any other installer that steps on to one of our projects.

Meagan Coomber
Meagan has been in the industry for over 20 years, starting out doing design and specification work for such clients as Goldman Sachs, BOA, and JPM Chase. In 2007 Meagan transitioned over to the installation side of the business when she became a partner at SDK, and took over full control of the business in 2009. Her extensive design background provides a valuable perspective as she knows exactly what the client wants the finished product to look like, and her eye for detail has become a trademark of SDK installs.

Mike Coomber
Mike began working in the industry in 2005 shortly after graduating from Rutgers University. He has been involved in many different roles within the ops side of the business, including asset management, project management, and installation. Mike currently runs the daily operations of SDK and personally oversees the successful completion of every project.

Gianna Corbo
Gianna has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years, specializing in accounting, and payroll administration. Gianna is an invaluable part of the SDK team as she keeps the books as cleanly run as our projects. Gianna is a 2007 graduate of Rutgers University.

Keith Soltis
Keith has been with SDK for over 20 years and serves as a foreman on both furniture and architectural walls projects. Keith boasts a diversified background including millwork, cabinet making, and has served as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown for the last 13 years.

Jim Hart
Jim has been with SDK for over 15 years and serves as a foreman for both furniture and lab installation projects. Jim has been a union carpenter for over 30 years and has been installing labs and furniture for over 25 years. Jim also uses his decades of experience in the field to help with bidding.

Christian Pavlick
Christian has been with SDK for over 15 years and serves as a foreman for walls, furniture and lab jobs. He came to SDK as a millwork specialist and has successfully transitioned the same level of skill and talent to furniture, walls and labs. Christian is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz.

Dorien has been with SDK for over 15 years. Dorien is a specialist with lab installations and has been running lab projects for over 2 decades.
